Creating dynamic content
Dynamic Content requires the Zendesk Support Professional plan or higher |
When you want to use dynamic content as your text, then you have to follow these steps:
- Login to Zendesk Support
- Click on the cogwheel and access the administrator panel
- Click on dynamic content.
- Click on “Add item” on the top right corner
- Create a title, add languages and fill in the description and then click “Create”
- Once created copy/paste the placeholder located at the top
- Log in to your Zendesk Guide
- Go to your admin panel and locate your new Bloom theme
- Check off “Use dynamic content” in the “Translations” setting
- Add the placeholder you’ve copied earlier into the correct setting.
Remember to remove the two curly brackets in front and back and the “dc.”
Now you have dynamic content on your Zendesk Guide!
Remember that if you check off “Use Dynamic Content”, then you have to insert dynamic content into all the text boxes.
All links have to be inserted as regular text When you insert a link to a button or text from the settings, be aware that you have to type the URL. You can still type the URL as regular text even though you have "Use Dynamic Content" on. |
